Refrigeration And Air Conditioning Laboratory

Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Laboratory (RAC Lab) is located at ground floor of East Block in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, IIT Roorkee. The laboratory caters to both undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum, with an aim to train students in the broad field of refrigeration and air-conditioning through studies involving refrigeration cycles, psychrometric processes, and relevant system/sub-system design and performance characterization. RAC Lab also houses several students working on their research projects along with some unique experimental facilities established as a part thereof.
